Summary: The unfair life of one Josiel Winchester
A/N: Part of my Josie!verse
Josie was not happy! She’d been placed in her high chair after an extreme lecture about flying in the house as if she’d been joyriding. There were cookies on top of the fridge that practically had her name written on them but the bloody buggers wouldn’t move.
“Josie, I have warned you about repeating Balthazar's words!” Papa Castiel chided gently shoving her outstretched arm back down and blocking the tendrils of grace that had begun sneaking towards the pastries.
Dean glanced at the two with a sigh before reaching over and rustling his daughter’s hair, the action earned him a disgruntled hiss and flaring of small wings. Turning to Cas he frowned, he didn’t like to see his princess unhappy.
Come on babe, can’t she just have one?” he wheedled and Josie obviously realized that he was trying to help because she cooed blue eyes wide as she watched her Papa.
Castiel looked from one Winchester to his mini-me, as Gabriel was fond of calling her.
“I was about to concede when your daughter decided to ‘swear up a storm’” Cas deadpanned
Dean snickered as his daughter’s expression shifted from innocent lamb to tiny, yet badass angel of the lord. Ignoring the fact that his own wings were puffing up in misplaced pride he stroked a finger across Cas’ cheek, distracting his mate as he sent a small amount of grace towards the fridge.
A second later three cookies rattled unto Josie’s little table and pudgy fingers quickly scooped them up. Shoving them into her mouth as Castiel swung towards her.
Blue clashed with Blue in what Dean would later describe as the battle of the crumbs, before Cas sighed and leant into Dean’s embrace
“I hope you are aware that spoiling her now will only make her adolescent years much more difficult to deal with.”
Dean grinned and dropped a kiss on Cas’ head as he watched their daughter chew furiously “I’m so awesome I ain’t even worried.” He smirked, mentally planning to send Josie on an extended stay with his mom as soon as she hit fourteen.
