New Camera

Following Megaplex 2013 I realized that I needed a camera that handled dimly-lit hotels better. So, I upgraded to the Sony Cybershot HX30V. Almost seven years later, I've pretty much worn it out. The click-wheel is broken, the zoom mechanism grinds, etc, etc.

So, with the world falling to pieces, I took the plunge and acquired a new camera: Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS200. This thing packs a lot of bells and whistles, at the expense of added girth. Still fits in my jeans pocket though.

The resolution is just 1.8MP higher, but the big difference is the size of the sensor. It's not quite what a DSLR would offer, but a DSLR doesn't fit in my pocket.

I have a few months before the next convention to learn to properly make use of what it has to offer.
