11 Days: An epiphany

I've been busting my ass getting my belongings on eBay, many of them selling for 99 cents or not selling at all, and it occurred to me, if I just got one day of work as a union extra on a TV show or movie, I could just throw away or donate a lot my stuff and end up with more money.

May I suggest converting it to a grab bag.

"$50 worth of CDs for only the highest bid!"

This could all be yours for $1!

I plan to, with the CDs and books and whatever that didn't sell. But having listed a bunch of CDs individually, I've found that some of them are going for prices I wouldn't have imagined. Like Phantom of the Opera 2CD set? $20.01 so far. And I found out one of the CDs I had was a collectors' item. Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger/SOMMS, which back in the day before Bittorrent was going for $90 or so, but now only got me $20.50.

But is all this effort averaging out to more than the $15.25 an hour plus overtime and meal, etc. I'd be getting on a set? Probably not.
