so it's been awhile, lj.

3. saddam hussein. America...fuck yea!
about iggy. he's still my cuddly teddy bear that spews out hate and spiteful things when you squeeze him. : )
and due to iggy's INSANELY CLEAN, MATURE, MINIMAL vintage appartment (thanks marine corps), i began a seriously in-depth excavational cleaning of my own room about a month ago. to date, i have thrown away 6-7 trash barrels full of stuff, donated four garbage bags worth of clothes, and i still have about 10-15% of the way to go. the reasons my room was so impacted with stuff (and i know some of you can sympathize) was because my parents never let me/i couldn't bare to throw anything away. i found seven pairs of jeans from MIDDLE SCHOOL that i distinctly remember not being allowed to throw away. so i piled more random shit on it. it also didn't help that i lived in the dorms for three years and used my room at home as storage space. i'll have to post pictures after i'm done, maybe end of the month, so you all can gasp with amazement.
currently getting through more graduate school applications. long beach is looking most ideal actually because 1) cheaper! 2) closer to home and the ones i love 3) i'll really only booze it up in scotland anyway. i'm still applying to glasgow and edinburgh, but hell. i wanna stay here. and it's not like i have any serious ambitions with a career in art history anyway. i just need something to do.
oh yea, and i have recently discovered the magical world of "are you being served?". thank god for bbc america.
