Ok. Happy late February, everyone! :)
I feel inclined to write about stuff. So, here I be, and here I am. Yesterday, Phil saw his shadow. Like he does every year. Only THIS year instead of watching this silly event from my dorm room or hearing about it from my home sweet bed, or some other far-flung exotic locale, I was viewing it from a dentist

Uh, actually, I have a tattoo and I turn 50 this year (cries into shoulder for a moment at the thought of being that old). I got it around two and a half years ago and I don't regret it. I guess it was my mid-life crisis or something. It's the Earth as origin symbol just above my ankle. Bascically no one sees it unless I show them. I was a Stargate SG-1 fan from the beginning and that kind of represented both shows, the two shows I've loved more than any other show ever. I love the whole stargate concept. If I'd had a lot of money and was really, really brave, I would have gotten a stargate.

don't worry about turning 50 tho, mate. haven't you heard? 50 is the new 30. :) very cool choice of tat tho! :) i wish davkid tennant the sex god or joe flanigan the other sex god was giving me a tat. that way, i could get my tat and oogle him or them both while not feeling pain cuz i'd be too busy oogling him or them instead. ;) *innocent look* waaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? ;)
how much does a stargate cost over the earth symbol tho? and is it something to do with copyright infringement? i've loved the 'Gates tho ever since seeing the original 1994 kurt russell/james spader movie, when i first saw it back IN 1994, when i was 11 years old (i'm about 26 now), tho i now love both the sg-1 and atlantis serieses waaaaaaaaaay better than that film. :)
you gonna watch the new series tho? i think i got hooked by the pretty face that is brian j smith. damn him! :( *lol* ;)

I will NOT EVER under ANY circumstances be watching Stargate 90210/aka Babygate/aka Stargate Universe. They simulateously screwed the fans and cast/crew of SGA by cancelling it in favor of a second season of SGU (which the show should be able to get on its own if its any good) and then insulted all of us by telling us we're all too old to matter. They can go suck lemons until their face turns inside out because I'll never watch the stupid show and I hope the thing crashes and burns in a big, money-losing fiery inferno. So, do you think that sounds like I'm bitter? OH, that's right, I AM!!!!!! LOL - I'll bet your sorry you asked.

Now, if Joe lands a really good part in a really good series - well, I might just broaden my horizons!
I love the idea of sticking together!!! Reminds me of our favorite team!!!

"that should NOT relegate him to making semi-crappy to CRAPPY!crappy skiffy movies for the rest of his natural life!!! (i'm looking at you, michael shanks!)" - That is so hilarious, but I know just what you mean. I think maybe I saw the movie you are referring to not long ago on SciFi channel. I just had to shake my head and sigh.
I like the idea of Joe in a NCIS spinoff. I loved that show the first few years, but kind of drifted off after they killed Kate. I know it was the actress who wanted to leave, but it made me sad and it just seemed wrong after that. I do occasionally tune in and I admit that I miss it. Hey, and I'm definitely on board with bringing along the cast - they have such wonderful chemistry together that I think it would transfer to another show.
