I feel inclined to write about stuff. So, here I be, and here I am. Yesterday, Phil saw his shadow. Like he does every year. Only THIS year instead of watching this silly event from my dorm room or hearing about it from my home sweet bed, or some other far-flung exotic locale, I was viewing it from a dentist

As for SGA? I miss ALL of them! Joe David Rachel Jason PAUL (McGillion, only of course) TORRI & yes even Dick and Jewel. *lol* To not have them anchoring my Friday nights? it KILLS me every hour of every day that they are now blown to the four corners of the globe. i want to murderize the OTHER paul and joe into a million trillion itty bitty pieces for how they ran OUR beautiful show into the ground in just two years. that downfall took vastly less time than it had to find its feet in the first place! :(

it irritates my mind to no end, be it 90210-like or not in execution. but - well - they're TRICKING me. they're dangling pretty things in front of me. it's like a carrot on a string. i know i don't neeeeeeeeed it, but OMG they're TEMPTING ME! :( it's loike they found the ONE thing in the entire universe that could work. a version of Joe Flanigan that's actually NEAR MY AGE!

...arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! *throws herself into the sea in total and utter despair, rather than watch even 1 single ounce of that...that...thing...masquerading as a show!* :(

Well, each of has to do what we have to do. I've already decided what I have to do and for once, it wasn't hard. I haven't really read anything about the new show except when it's buried in other stuff or commented on in communities I visit. I refuse. I do not want to know what it's about or who is in it because I don't care - NOT WATCHING IT. But I know others will - that is their decision and they have every right to make it.

I, like you, was a loyal fan, that is until they screwed over my boys and gals late last year. as i said, i would rather drown at sea than watch even one crappy second of some crappy show that ruined our show. So - it shall be - You AND me against the world, mate, so let's stick together! Have you seen any new currently-on-tv fandoms to take SGA's place though? ~Sharma, standing by your side, NO MATTER WAT!

This is really my only fandom, unless you count the occasional Thoughtcrimes fic. I'm not really interested in diving into another one yet - I'm not through with SGA if I'm honest. I've got a notebook full of ideas and some other people out there who aren't ready to let go either. I think we'll all just hang out creating our own SGA memories with each other for a while longer.

Now, if Joe lands a really good part in a really good series - well, I might just broaden my horizons!

I love the idea of sticking together!!! Reminds me of our favorite team!!!

Quite frankly, if it weren't for Doctor Who, a fandom in which i am only now just a fledgling within, i'd say SGA is my only fandom too. and soon i might have it again as my only fandom.

in DW, ten (david tennant) is stepping down and i don't really like who they got as the new doc, eleven (matt smith). i've seen him in other stuff and though he is far from being an unknown, he's also only a year older than me (maybe only months older) and he's supposed to be playing a 900-year-old-plus time lord. i also think he's NOT really MY kind of actor. he seems to underact or overact, but does neither very convincingly.

HOWEVER, i WILL give him a FAIR trial run and see wats wat when he takes over in 2010. ;)

as for our most fair and awesome Flanigan, titan? i'm really REALLY hoping that the upcoming rumored NCIS spinoff's crew guys see Joe's potential as a leading man. so - the guy's done some scifi. so - wat?! that should NOT relegate him to making semi-crappy to CRAPPY!crappy skiffy movies for the rest of his natural life!!! (i'm looking at you, michael shanks!) 'cuz he could bring something really different to the procedural table, ya know? :) *crosses fingers & toes* PLUS - then we'd get to see him and get our weekly "Joe-vision" fixes again. ;) Hell, why not import the ENTIRE SGA cast into it. ;) torri/jewel/paul mcgillion = coroners/lab techies. joe flanigan = gibbs-like lead dude. david = mcgee (computer geek/wiz). jason = hotshot senior agent (2nd in command to joe's character). rachel = an exotic, green but great, junior agent (like ziva).

how's that for a series sound???

I watched Dr. Who for a while and really liked David Tennant (have a small, autographed pic thanks to Kathy). Then it went off for a while and I think it came back on and I never got back into it.

(i'm looking at you, michael shanks!)" - That is so hilarious, but I know just what you mean. I think maybe I saw the movie you are referring to not long ago on SciFi channel. I just had to shake my head and sigh.

I like the idea of Joe in a NCIS spinoff. I loved that show the first few years, but kind of drifted off after they killed Kate. I know it was the actress who wanted to leave, but it made me sad and it just seemed wrong after that. I do occasionally tune in and I admit that I miss it. Hey, and I'm definitely on board with bringing along the cast - they have such wonderful chemistry together that I think it would transfer to another show.

well, i think US sux in the manner of which they show doctor who. you never know when it's on. its kinda how the rest of the world was behind the us and canada for new SGA eps. only with doctor who WE are the rest of the world. *lol*

yes hilarious and sadly true too. hilarious because shanks will never read/see this, and yet i still wrote that shoutout down. and true because it's happened waaaay MORE than just once to him...Swarm (killer bees). Python (humaneating giant snake meets religious zealots). The Legend of some bumfrack Canyon somewheres (treasure-hunters-r-us)...the list really DOES go on an on. *sigh*

it appears my ncis spinoff wish for joe and co. has fallen thru in a blaze of crappiness. chris motherf-in' BAAAAAAAD robin wannabe o'donnell is reportedly gonna star in that show. and he can't even ACT!!! :( and he looks like a prepubescent boy in pretty much every film he's ever done. and we're just supposed to believe him as a hardnosed agent like gibbs/harmon or hell even one like tony. i can't even see him like tony/weatherly tho. here and now, i know that tony/weatherly has more adultness and acting chops in his pinkie toe than o'donnell has in his WHOLE body! :(
