Christmas & House
Christmas was good. Had fun spending time with family, got good presents, ate good food.
Don't really have much to say lately, I guess.
Oh, oh, oh. I almost forgot that I hadn't mentioned it in my LJ yet. kokeshikitten and I are buying a house! We've been house hunting for what seems like forever. A few weeks ago, we put a bid in on a house we really liked, but we got outbid by someone who offered cash. But for some unknown reason, their deal fell through and the house went back on the market, so we put in another bid and it was accepted. *squeee*
I'm trying not to get too excited or talk about it too much, for fear of jinxing it, or at least being über-disappointed if for whatever reason the deal falls through.
Anyway, it's in the mountains, near Lake Arrowhead. My wife's sister lives up there. She and her husband are really nice people, and I like their kids, so it'll be nice to live near them. It'll be cold, but I like cold weather, and it's woodsy but not too far from larger cities, just down the hill, and that's how I like it.
