[Non-Canonical] Permission:

I decided to do a little kitbashing to make a new Permission for my DFRPG campaign in response to a request from one of my players. This is non-canonical, but since it's just for my campaign I didn't figure there'd be a problem with it.  I found it very easy to put together a custom build (and I think from the playtest forum others feel the same ( Read more... )

This is neat! I've only skimmed Spirit of the Century and glanced at FATE, so forgive my ignorance. Are Permissions part of FATE, or something new for DFRPG?

The Permissions and Powers are a new add on for FATE that deal with supernatural powers. The rules are still being worked out but as of now you 'buy in' with a permission and this opens up certain powers either as a must buy or as an option. Its pretty cool looking but I'd wait to see if all of the costs stay the same in the final product.
