Bad news from home
desertrowan asked me to make a post for her apologizing for her absence from the LJ scene in the last little while.
Her father has been sick for some time and was admitted to hospital last night for surgery to remove a cancer mass in his colon. He came through alright and is going to be given a couple of weeks to recover at home before starting chemo to attack the cancer in his liver. That's about all we know at the moment, but there is obviously a great deal of concern and uncertainty in life right now.
