Getting so damn close...
Man I am so anxious to pcs to my next base. I got my port call (day I leave this island) today, January 12th is my plane ride. Hopefully I can take 30 days of leave, but I'll have to check how much leave I actually have saved up. It's been almost a year since I last took leave (last april) so I should have it. I don't look forward to that 16 or so hour plane ride but it means I'll be off this island and on my way home so thats fucking tits. I should be in Jersey on the same day, January 12th so feel free to stop by (it falls on a friday so I'll have that weekend before people go back to schoolin).
The Air Force is gonna have two SrA Stormers (e-4 for you other branches) come the fifth of December xD. I'm also very excited about that. I have no idea what the pay raise is, but it comes with a lot more responsibility so thats kinda unnerving. Eh whatever I'll enjoy the money and "step it up" at work, or so I say. And thankfully I made the cutoff to test for staff (E-5) so theres always that to look forward too. This seems like a very exciting couple months of my career, a lot to look forward too. I also got an email from my sponsor in Creech so thats good. I'm not really sure how to respond other than "HI GUY....UH HI!" but theres information I have to give him so gotta get on that.
Does anyone know any really good bars back in Jersey. Only couple I know are Dad's and the one next to the WAWA (or w/e the hell its called now) near pat-o's house. I got a new drinking buddy when I go home, my "adopted" OLDER, uglier, can't win at anything loser brother Mike so I expect GREAT times from our adventures. I am REALLY TRUELY gonna miss the social/drinking environment out here, and all my drinking/non drinking buddies. Theres a whole street DEDICATED to bars and other...uh...sinfull places ^^;;. I have been through a lot on this damn island, a lot of good and VERY bad memories. I think in the end I have a positive perspective of my time here and of the base. Crap, listen to me...I havent even left yet lol.
