I am sick of making depressing lj posts. The fires are still fucking burning. There's also a danger that Melbourne's main water supply could be contaminated if the fires spread towards that particular dam. This just makes me LOL, I don't know why. It's like could this get any worse? Well, actually, YES! Maybe it'd be the hilarity of normal life upended. I'd probably laugh for one day and then be depressed for all the stinky days that followed. But they are doing things to prevent this, so I doubt it will actually happen.
And, now, a poll (revised*!) so that I can gauge interest in things I was thinking about doing, once normally programming resumes to this lj. Please take the time to fill it in. Look inside yourself for the answers.

My great discovery of today was that rather than saying LOL, one can instead use the phrase: To laugh outside extremely! Thank you, Babel Fish.
