My wee lad had to stay at the vet overnight to get an anaesthetic and stitches after his fight on Saturday. I am presuming it's the nasty black and white cat who lives nearby who bashed him up. The place is not the same without him. Eating yoghurt and not having someone else's snout in it, opening the drawer on the dvd player and not seeing someone ( Read more... )

pats for me or for him? he can have the pilchard though, when i get him back, tomorrow night. :(
*hugs back*
he'll be ok - our vet is a lovely, caring, kind man who i trust totally. it's just we're both wusses, me & toby.

ps. you should go and introduce yourself at pff-smo. :)

I don't suppose they generally do saliva DNA checks or other forensic tests on feline assault victims.

no, i don't think so. he could have even needed special victims treatment - there might have been some sexual motivation behind the attack. he is a sweet delicate animal who might get called a pansy or a fairy or some such like by the other tough cats who feel their masculinity threatened by such a beautiful boy.

Awwww, Toby.

(p.s. the suspicious cat sounds like Josh!)

i haven't seen josh in a while, but i don't know if he would travel over the freeway just to pick on toby. plus the black and white cat is a lot stockier than i remember josh being. I don't think it's him, but maybe you could ask him about it?

i'm sure toby will be fine. i is lonely without him though. :(

Oh, so sorry to hear about poor Toby. I hope he's better again soon and back with his nose in your yoghurt :)

he's actually not too bad with the yoghurt. probably because he knows he'll get the empty jar or bowl when i'm finished. spoilt as he is. :D
