i'm having an emo moment

My wee lad had to stay at the vet overnight to get an anaesthetic and stitches after his fight on Saturday. I am presuming it's the nasty black and white cat who lives nearby who bashed him up. The place is not the same without him. Eating yoghurt and not having someone else's snout in it, opening the drawer on the dvd player and not seeing someone's ears prick up as he thinks about pouncing, not having a lap warmer. I'm all mopey without him. However did I cope with life before I had him?
