SPN Drabble
And so it begins

Written for the Bad to the Bone (Welcome to the Dark Side) Drabble Challenge over at spnwriterlounge (expanded slightly here).
Summary - There are no angels in this S4, oh no... Here, Lazarus rises for a different reason entirely.

It began when his life ended, the hellhounds tearing away at his flesh while the person he trusted most looked on helplessly, pinned to the wall by the white-eyed bitch. The last thing he'd heard had been Sam screaming for him.
Then it was his turn.
As he hung from those chains, hooks digging into his flesh, he’d screamed and begged for help, crying out one name, over and over again. But Sam never came. He waited through decades of soul-searing agony until finally he gave in, carving up other souls, and liking it.
Now he rises from the pit, obsidian eyes glittering wickedly in the darkness. He’ll find the one that left him behind, and make him pay. After all, hunting is in his blood. Even if it is demon blood.
Let the apocalypse begin.
