Halfway through. Stayed in Ames, IA with the guy from Poison Control Center.
Went to Chicago (all things go), played at the Darkroom (hip club in the Ukrainian District) with Mannequin Men (The Pixies), The Slingerland Ride (Squirrel Nut Zippers) and The Handcuffs (girl-fronted glam/punk/something). The latter's drummer was the guy from The Romantics ("What I Like About You")
Speaking of celebrities, the guy from Casiotone for the Painfully Alone delivered us a care package.
And Shea came to see us tonight. Chicago joins the list of cities I would live in.

And upon discovering Neapolitan Dynamite ice cream from Ben & Jerry's: "NAPOLEON DYNAMITE!?!"
