When blurting stuff out to interested parties please remember that it is not the aviation industry who votes for or against you. I doubt very much whether the people of Barrow and Furness care much about Heathrow expansion either, but there are 44 London Labour MPs many of whom are going to be a whole lot less popular if Heathrow expansion gets the go ahead, especially on the back of one of the world's most fixed public consultations.
