Going back to school hasn't quite been what I expected. I thought it would be good to be back and have a busy schedule again. That's not really the problem, though. I've just been tired lately because I need to adjust to the new schedule. The reason going back isn't as great as I thought it might be is just all the stupid memories it evokes. Everything there reminds me of something I don't want to be reminded of. English may prove to be especially tough. It seems like it will be a really interesting class, but it's like bizarro world in there or something. It kinda freaks me out. Austin is in my class, though. I think that helps. Also, I found something that I wrote in eleventh grade I think, and it made my day a little better.
I don't remember why I wrote this, but I did. I realize the grammar and word choice could be much better, but by the looks of it on paper I most likely wrote it when I was bored in one of my classes with the only intention being to assuage my boredom. Anyway, here it is, the title-less wonder.
This tale takes place at Valley View High School. Just your average high school it is, but as of late there have been some shifty goings-on around the campus. Someone from a rival school has been vandalizing different areas there. This face of evil is Idiot Jerk, Painter of Graffiti. The principal doesn't know what to do, and everyone is worried that the janitor won't be able to clean it all off. Thank goodness a hero from the land has heard of these vandalisms and is brave enough to come and save the school from the terror of this defacer of property. This hero is Goth Nerd, Scooper of Ice Cream.
He works at an ice cream shop by day, but now he has chosen to go and wait for Idiot Jerk to come to the school under the cover of night so that he may catch him and rid the school of his dirty work. Late into the night he waited with some other fellows there to help if it was needed. However, no one came. It was hard to believe after all that had happened for the past few nights, but even into the wee hours of the morning all was quiet on the school campus.
The next night they waited once again. Finally, after hours of waiting in the darkness, someone appeared. It was Idiot Jerk and he had a bag on one shoulder. He reached into it and pulled out a can of spray paint. Then he began his evil doings. Goth Nerd crept as quietly as he could up to Idiot Jerk, and when he got close enough he grabbed him around his middle. Idiot Jerk struggled as Goth Nerd tried hard to keep his grip tight on him. In a last attempt to free himself from Goth Nerd's hold, Idiot Jerk threw up his hand and hit his captor in the head with his paint can. Goth Nerd staggered back, but managed to take the bag of spray paint before Idiot Jerk could escape.
On the third day, Goth Nerd prepared for battle. He knew tonight would be the night. He knew he had to defeat Idiot Jerk once and for all. He was clothed in all black: pants, t-shirt, shoes. First he spiked up his dark hair. Then he put his punisher sweater over his head. Finally, he placed his glasses gently on his nose. Goth Nerd was now ready to fight.
That night he went alone to the school. He desired to fight and defeat Idiot Jerk on his own. With only his courage, an idea and the bag of spray paint, Goth Nerd hid in a corner, awaiting Idiot Jerk's appearance there. When Idiot Jerk showed himself, bearing only one can of paint, Goth Nerd readied himself with two cans and snuck up to Idiot Jerk. As he got closer, he set his fingers at the ready on the triggers of the cans. Then, when he was no more than a few feet away, he began to spray Idiot Jerk with paint. Clothes, hair, face, everything got covered. At this, the principal of the school ran up with two other administrators and caught Idiot Jerk. "No! My hair!" he yelled as he was dragged away into the darkness.
The next day was a day of celebration. Finally, evil was no more on the campus of Valley View High, and it was all thanks to Goth Nerd.
