i'd say, come to california, stay in my garage or living room, use my darkroom non-stop, and we'll go on phototrips for days and days, and it would be more than pointless, i know. but then we might fall in love, and that would turn out bad. seriously, take a vacation, rent a car, drastic-ly good, is still good.

sometimes i say to myself "fuckin snap out of it"
it doesnt really work, but you could try it if you want.

ok, bye.
wierd, cause i dont know you really. sorry?
bye

hey dude, doing nothing in general does not mean you cannot succeed masterfully in the future. making bad decisions again and again might limit your chances, but treading water is not evil. look at howard dean, or barack obama--they were both intelligent guys, but didnt really do much in college but do decent and party a lot. now they are major figures. will ferrell didn't "make it" until he was 35. i mean, ending up just "OK" in America means you are probly better off than 95% of the history of the world, but feeling unaccomplished at 22 or 21 or however old you are is no grounds for abandoning hope.

i think you definitive worldview and self-realization happens in your mid to late 20s anyhow, so just relax, enjoy life as much as you can, get your stuff done, and wait to see what life throws at you. half of it is hard work, but the other half is recognizing opportunities---and its difficult if not impossible to "make" opportunities happen. they will come.

youre entirely right. the only problem with me, or anyone my age is that i uncontrollably lack the perspective.

so thank you for your mature, stable perspective.
