Mary and I went to the doctor today. Good news is I haven't gained any weight. Bad news is I haven't lost any. I'm leaning toward NutriSystem, which she says is pretty good. OK, I still have a urinary tract infection, for which I'm taking Cipro, but aside from that, the cruds are gone. I was concerned that I wasn't going to sleep last night for having to get up and run to the bathroom (as Mary points out, "running" anywhere is now a figure of speech), but in fact I slept better than I have in months and woke up oddly ( Read more... )

I think it's more of a urinary tract infection, which is a little more painful. I still have some flulike symptoms, but mostly just...well, you know. I have a call in to the doctor, and hope she gets back to me soon tomorrow, because I'm pretty miserable right now. Let's hope I can get some sleep in the meantime.

I've had a headache for the last two days, and this morning I feel like I'm coming down with the flu. My blood pressure is fine, so it's got to be something else. Uhhhh......

I feel a cold coming on. I've felt like this since trying to go to sleep last night. I developed a scratchy, sore feeling near where the air passage from the nose enters the throat (I think you know what I'm talking about) and it feels like the sinuses are draining. Mary and I celebrated Thanksgiving by not having a turkey, as we usually don't. (It tends to get stinky before we can eat enough of it to make it worth our while.)
