I'm not dead.... just floating
Hey there... I know it's been a while since I posted or even logged in... a few months to be in fact. I miss you guys and I am actually starting to miss Chicago a lot. I am glad to call Dallas home, but I am hoping I can visit Chicago at least once a year. I am hoping to come up some time this summer if it works out. I am pretty budgeted since I bought the house and doing projects here has occupied much of my spare time. I am also totally in love with a wonderful bear named Dusty. He is different from anyone I have every been with. He is sweet, loving, and responsible. He is totally honest and the first man that I have been with that I really trusted, well, maybe ever. I honestly did not think I could trust a man again, but I love him more than I have loved anyone before. I can't explain it, it's just different.
Don't worry, we won't be moving in together too soon. We both own our places so we cant just up and move in. I love love to have a home with him someday however. He just lights up when I see him and we just cant stop holding each other for half an hour after he gets here. I am the happiest that I have been in years, if not EVER. I need to pay down the credit cards a bit, but mostly things are pretty great. I am living living in my own house on my own with my dogs. Next project is putting down new pavers for the patio in the back yard, then staining the fence. I barely go to the bars anymore.. lol I still have a ton of work to do before home reaches perfetion, but it's getting there. =) I will post more soon.. by the way, I hope this all makes good sense after 4 glasses of wine...lol
