Yes, I'm alive.
I have been working a lot and getting settled in Dallas over the past 8 months or so. I have met some new people and caught up with old ones. Done some dating but still single. I put in a bid on a townhouse in north Dallas yesterday and my bid has been accepted. I busted my ass to fix my credit and save money, so now I am finally buying a home. I am VERY excited. I had hoped I could share this experience with someone, but doing it on my own I know noone can screw me out of it. I dont have to worry about a break up, its MINE and I can afford it on my own. I hope to share it with someone someday, but it will still be mine no matter what.
It is a very cute 2 bedroom townhouse just north of 635 off of Coit, a nice little area. I will have 1000 sqare feet all to myself and a cute little fenced in back yard for the dogs. I have two covered parking spaces and a little private storage shed. The HOA covers the yard work and outside maintenance and I have two pools and a clubhouse I can use. I should be closing at the end of July and will start moving then. I'll still have my apt for two months so I can paint, tile, etc and get it how I want it. This past year has been crazy, but I have already had a good promotion at work and I may be joining the Dallas Opera Chorus this year also. I'll try to start posting again and I hope everyone here is doing well. *HUGS*
