The eye
Today I worked 5 hours, then sat on the computer for 5 hours, then was restless and bored and decided I had to get out so I went to Max's Tavern. It was quiz night so it was packed. I expected it to be empty because all the students are gone for winter break. I saw my friends Patrick, Anna, Travis and Karlin there. Karlin was with her friend Carl and her roommate Amy. Amy was giving me some looks and stuff. I asked Karlin if she was available and she said that she had this complicated thing going with this guy in Portland. Then again later when I was more drunk I said I should ask for her number then she said that she and her had painted their nails black the day before to represent swearing off guys over winter break because they fail at life or something. I ended up leaving with nothing, but had a good time. I don't know these crazy signals girls are supposedly giving off. I just know that she was giving me the eye.
