I finally received a phone call from the pediatric clinic ( see this post for reference). I have been given an appointment for Alex on August 16, at last. Last time he was seen was in October 2008 and he was supposed to be seen 6 months after... We've been waiting ever since. It will be 2 years and 10 months since his last appointment...

Well. It's been a while.

A while back already, we had to postpone the wedding by 2 weeks. settling for October 29.  After I initially booked the hall, I learned that 2/3 of our guest list had a previous commitment and would have been absent. Fortunately, it was not a problem with the hall.

 My test has been received and forwarded to Anaïs, who was in video conference with us from Oslo. They will review it and Bety should get back to me by Friday next week.

So, that gives me about a week to think further about solutions to the challenges of resettling with my son. Here they are, in no particular order.

Well, the interview day was yesterday. More coincidences kept occurring.

Since Luke and I met, we both experienced a countless amount of coincidences, as if we had finally fell on the track we were meant to be into. There is a definite sense of fate in all this. It kept going likewise yesterday.

Friday, I didn't send my son to school and kept him home until this morning. He caught a particularly nasty cold. Hopefully, he's resilient and he's already feeling a lot better, and he was ready to go to school this morning.
