Quite a few changes these past few days...
So in the past few days, not only have I gained a boyfriend-type-thing who has moved in, but I sort of got a baby, too.
Right, let me explain...I actually do remember it. Christmas. Vancouver. I was lonely, and...there was a woman. There are always women. And I used a condom, but they do break, don't they? Lessons learned.
Anyway, she sent me a letter, and I sort of scoffed it off. I think I have gotten 100 of those letters, especially in minor league hockey. But then in the minor leagues a woman would rip through half the team in one night and would send carbon copies of those letters to 20 guys. And I have always, usually been safe. So.
Demanded a paternity test, all that jazz, and yes it is mine. I am not terribly unhappy about that, either, because I HAVE sort of wanted a third baby. But, she did the typical scam that ALL the minor-league girls played: "pay me and I will go away." And, after you pay the girl, she gives the baby away! Gives.the baby.away. I mean...I cannot just do that to my own blood. So she wants money, fine, fine, but I will pay her to leave the baby with ME. And that is the arrangement we have.
The woman - mother...Tiffany, did not even name her - her...a little girl. A beautiful little girl. Said she had been calling her 'Brittany' though, and THAT had to change. Wayne and I were looking at baby books, and I liked Emelie, and he liked Isabelle, so now she is Emelie Isabelle Hedberg.
So. Tiffany arrived yesterday and has been holed up in her room while we have been SHOPPING! Clothes shopping, and we had a baby seat, and new toys, and luckily the place is pretty big, in contrast to the Vancouver apartment. It is all over the news now in Leksand though, I guess people started phoning it in. The hazards of being a celebrity in your hometown. But anyway, it has been baby-mania, and the kids are still very excited. Asking a lot of difficult questions, but I have been managing. They are not yet in the EXTREME JEALOUSY state, but I know they will be soon, so I am enjoying this while it lasts.
Oh, and while we were out I got one of the studio pictures taken.
No cut, because I want you all to see. She still looks very new. But, she was born August 21st, so almost a month now! From left to right it is Molly, Emelie, and Wilma.
This has been...more amazing than I could imagine. Even with the not-so-ideal situation.
[Yes, the new baby is real, and it's always so hard to put them in when your fake!char hasn't nailed his fake!wife in over a year, you know? But, luckily he's easy enough this could happen...I have NO CLUE what Baby Hedberg's name is, looked everywhere. So the name could just change if I ever find out, but hey, whatever :)]
