Do your dance

So he came.

And now I just find myself smiling more and...everything. This might work, you know? This might work. He sat me down and looked at me and said, "Johan, I do not care what you do with other people as long as you are the last thing I see when I go to sleep and the first thing I see when I wake up."

Now that, I can do. I have never wanted to settle down, but having been crested 30 now (31, actually) I have started to feel...just a little bit antsy with what I am doing with my life. But I know very well that, at least right now, if anyone demands monogamy they are going to get their hearts broken. Look at me and Peter. He does not do well with sharing, I do not do well with being chained down, and that is why he claims he is never speaking to me again. ...I wish he would not be so dedicated to that cause.

Anyway, I opened the winter house back up in Leksand, the town of. Old house - I have lived here since Molly was born, since we usually came back here during the summers. So this house has seen my own family, my ex-wife, others...and then HE shows up. Still not sure what I am going to tell the kids. I mean, they know him from the Penguins, so no big deal. But when they left for school it was just Daddy and when I picked them up it was Daddy plus. Just a friend, you know. Wilma still buys it, she happily climbed onto his lap and babbled about what they learned in school. Molly seemed happy to see him also, but she is turning 10 in a month, so she was a lot less wary. Not too long until she is a teenager...

Today I was giving him the tour and all of a sudden he was staring at the walls with this LOOK, with this pale face and just...I do not know how to explain it. But I asked him what was wrong. He pointed to one of the scant few pictures of my ex-wife, Pernilla (it is a good picture of the kids, you know?) and asked if that was her. I said yes.

Turns out that woman he met - the one I told him to be happy with if she made her such - was Pernilla. That woman makes me HOMICIDAL. He apologized like crazy, but it was not his fault, she knew full way from day one who he was - she recognized him as an ex-teammate. She has kind of split on him lately, so I told him to check his bank account. Bet it is a lot thinner. Bitch.

Normally that kind of shit would make me CRAZY, but somehow with Wayne here, it is...okay.
