Here's my short review!
You move around sluggishly. This is deliberate.
Your menus are accessed without pausing the game. Your HUD is projected in front of you while you're still vulnerable. And trust me, you feel vulnerable.
Your surroundings are clanky and loud and very distracting.
Sound is amazing. For full effect, play with the lights off with a good pair of headphones. Pants will be shit.
The thing is, the game makes some deliberate decisions that may not make for the best gameplay, but definitely add to the mood of the game. And that's what this game is all about! It's all atmosphere and mood. There's nothing spectacular about the way the game is played, but because of how it's brought together, you'll shit bricks and enjoy.
