In any case, no, it won't be a split.
However, I think this is a far more telling stat than the Washington Redskins "predictor" of presidential elections (This one's from snopes.com and is dedicated to Mike and Jess):
"I'm not one for omens, but every time the Red Sox have won a World Series in the year of a Presidential Election, the incumbent has been defeated.
