Election Night
OK - I only have a few comments about the election:
I was amused by the CNN Headline News anchor's seeming excitement as she explained that she would have "a big map" behind her during the evening that would fill in with color as races were called. Wow! A big map? That must be a first.
Although CBS said that they were going to be conservative when calling races, they sure seem to be the first out of the gate - at least by half an hour in some cases. I wonder how long until they have to reverse course on a state?
Voter scandal in Nebraska - some random joker called people last night, claiming to be from the election commission and telling people that their polling location had changed.
My favorite thing about the 2004 election? Dan Rather's teeny-tiny election map that he has to point at with a #2 pencil - and the pencil dwarves the southeast part of the nation when he points to Oklahoma.
By the way - I still owe you an e-mail, Jess. It's just that Cassie finally figured out how to roll over from her back to her stomach. She enjoys the rolling, but hates being on her belly, and hasn't yet figured out how to roll the other way. So I'm spending quite a lot of time chasing her down...
