Goodbye, Matt
I blame the fact that the gods do hate me. They must after all the shit in my life...now I have to deal with the talentless hack Nicole Jamrose being in the top three on Nashville Star and a true talent, Matt Mason, going home. It's a shame there are so many people out there who for some reason think she deserves a recording contract. In my eyes, it was a sad day in country music when she made it on the show and it only gets sadder the further she advances.
So, it is with tears in my eyes and down my cheeks that I say goodbye to Matt Mason. You are right, the greatest people have been told "no," so go out there and show the world what you are made of and how much a fuckup it was for them to vote for Nicole. The record sales (although she can't win...if she does, the show is rigged) will show though...she will go the way of Brad Cotter and be out a contract in a year.
And now off to vote for Chris Young.
