spent the last 2 saturdays party-hopping. corporate tradition ek-ek. everyone's getting wet at pansol and so, traffic or not, i just had to go. swimming. 2 straight saturdays. all the different villas in miramonte. yeah, it was loads of fun.

highlights:

~ sap's wet, wild, and wacky party at enchanted kingdom and then at a private pool in wonder spring was the best christmas party we've ever had. hard to top. the rio grande rapids wins the best ride, and san mig light, the drink of choice.

zambales remains to be the best summer outing, though. i guess that one will never be outdone. ever.

~ i really don't like the j girl. saw her at the combined bms and tmg party and was a bit irked. she harasses my sensibilities. i don't wanna be in jla's shoes.

~ the ar party was like a harem party with rb as the big, fat king. teng gets to be kissed twice by the tuknenengs. guess he enjoyed them tremendously. hehe.

~ nearly got thrown into the pool again at 24. guess i'm the group favorite after climbing out of their pool last year with my sandals and flimsy white clothes on, and my glorious black underwear showing. had lots of robert mondavi's there. i was on a semi-laughing trip when i left.

~ the burnek party was hilarious. i don't know if it was just so or because the gin pomelo was playing with my sides. i was laughing so hard at every little thing. even the word 'papaitan' was hilarious. guess i was a little tipsy.

~ the combined 11 & 12 party gave me rest. tc was there, rest was expected. lost my left contact lens on my first dive. it was so disappointing 'coz that one was an expensive thingy. then the amorous thomas crown swam every inch of the pool looking for that colored, little plastic. and boy did he find it! i was ecstatic! it was an almost impossible feat. but all for the love of catherine, i guess.

~ they gave paxie a tribute. he's moving on and up the p.lab ladder. i'll miss paxie. he's one of the best people i've ever met. i cried as i bid him goodbye. made a few people tearful as well. i hate goodbyes.

paxie was a really good friend, too. will definitely miss the guy.

chief indicated i just might inherit paxie's position. that's a promotion. an exciting one. but too many people want paxie's job. it's fun being a sales manager if paxie is your principal. it'll be like old times. but let's see. other people have more compelling reasons for wanting paxie's job. me, whatever lands on my lap lands on my lap. i'm 26. i've written too many 'youngest' histories in this division. i don't really mind missing one. i'm fine with my 2-year plan.

the kids are gone. it's gonna be a quiet christmas.
