i put my foot down today. i told chief i want the field managership of pd24, and that he better get a replacement for me for the sa/p position. he paused for awhile. and then he said yes. but i will still have the sa/p staff reporting to me. 50-50, he said, until my would-be padawan becomes a complete jedi knight.
he asked me whatelse i want. i said i want a cross-posting at the marketing division - business dev't. or product mgmt. and then another country. i want malaysia. or taiwan. he said they're all big possibilities.
