California here we come....
We moved down to Florida roughly a month ago to care for Tippi's Grandfather, we like it here, we've managed to meet some nice people and see some fun things in that short time and had made plans to see alot more as time went on but it seems it's not to pass. If you read Tippi's LJ just skip this since it's nothing you have'nt already heard.
At the 3 week mark I flew out to California to deal with some family matters which for the most part did'nt go as hoped or planned but was'nt a bad trip regardless. It would have been quiet and uneventful had Tippi not called me telling me that her Grandfather had been lying to us and most of the promised made by him and certain others had gone unfulfilled leaving us with few options, he seriously believes every scam artist that comes along even ignoring the orders of a Sheriff to not send money to ANYONE unless it's family or the usual bills. Turns out he's intentionaly making promises he has no intention of keeping.
Since he firmly believes his "Big money" is comming he refuses to curb his spending and refuses to assist us since he feels he'll be able to set us up properly with his "Big money" He gets tested for any mental disabilites on the 3rd plus Tippi and myself go in with him to speak to his social worker and give her/him our 2 cents. Though no matter what goes down we're still forced to leave with our only hope for survival being running to my family in California with a possible place to live in Texas should things in SoCal not pan out.
As it stands we're leaving on Friday the 6th sometime in the morning and making a run for Ramona California following I-75 north and I-10 West till we get to California so if anyone's along the way and wants us to visit please let me know since we'll probably need the rest stop. Tippi did manage to secure a job she is going to transfer to a Walmart in Poway California which leaves me to find work so wish me luck boyos!
