Well I just got back from the mountains. It was a balmy weekend up there with a low temperature of 28 degrees F. I went turkey hunting and fishing. I didn't see a damn turkey while I was hunting, and I did decent fishing for pickerel. I went out to eat 2 nights. Both were great dinners for being in the middle of nowhere (Asshole of the World, This God forsaken Hell Hole). I enjoy it up there though. It's always quiet and such. Next week I'm supposed to take my grandparents downt eh beach for a few days and open up their (our) trailer. This means that THE FLOUDNER FISHING TRIP IS NEXT WEEK. I would like to know when everyone is free and busy next week, and all who are interested. That way I can plan everything around each person. Fishing has picked up in the past week, and it looks liek it will continue in the next few. We will be going on the "Bay Bee" which is a 40' boat that goes into the bay for fishing. It will be targeting flounder until the "junk fish arrive". Or if trout or somehting are biting at the bridge we may go after them. Price is $25 and rod rental is $5. However, the coastal fisherman has an advertisement for free rod rentals, or you can bring your own, and they provide bait (probably shiners and squid, If I'm down there with my grandparents the day before I'll throw in our minnow traps). It goes on 2 trips each day 8-noon, and 1-5. I suggest a morning trip since it will be in the earlier part of the week, and will be less crowded. An afternoon trip would have to be on the weekend or early the next week and reservations would have to be made. It would probably be a little more crowded then too if it is on the weekend. Monday (if need be), Tuesday or Wednesday next week sounds like the best days to go, and thursday (if need be). Remeber we have to catch teh tides jsut right or no fish. We can push it back to the first or 2nd week of june, however it starts to get crowded in June.

Here are our immediate options

5/23 Mon Morning *
5/24 Tues Morning
5/25 Wed Morning
5/26 Thurs Monring*
5/29 Sun afternoon
5/30 Mon afternoon
5/31 Tues afternoon *
Days repeat like such into june

* means tide is barely in the time fishing.
Note: if your driving down the day of, the boat leaves at 8 AM, meaning getting up hella early. Liek 4. You could always stay at someones place (not mine cause I'll be with my grandparents) and come down the night before. Else afternoon would be better.
