Mat and Missy would've shown up together looking dapper as fuck with the cheesiest card ever for Joel. It's a "Congratulations on becoming an Eagle Scout" card and Mat has written "TODAY YOU ARE A MAN," on it. Missy added her own flirtatious flare and wrote, "IOU 1 lapdance xoxo Missy." Mat was unable to stop himself from adding, "don't forget you can't touch the girls."

Being the social butterflies they are, both would spend time dancing and drinking with as many people as possible. Flirt, flirt, drink, flirt, dance, and repeat. They would have both spent a good amount of time with Joel and Mat would eventually have to be pried away from the bar because he wouldn't be able to stop buying him shots.

Once things died down a little, they'd tackle Joel with hugs and then skip away into the night.

Successful party, bro!

Joel would have been super glad they came, thanked the a lot and loved the card. Probably laughed a ton over it. Enjoyed dancing with them both and gladly taken any shot given to him.

Chris and Misha would have arrived on time. They would have come and spoken to Joel, and informed him that any of his or his mother's drinks that night were going to be put on their tab as one of his birthday gifts. They also would have handed him an envelope with open dated first class plane tickets and hotel vouchers for a week in the Bahamas. It's all paid for, Joel just has to contact the places and pick the dates.

Misha and Chris would have drank a bit at the bar, Chris would've danced a little with friends. Misha isn't a big dancer. They would've chatted with people they know, Chris probably would have chatted a bit with Joel's mom too. They stayed until after cake before saying their goodbyes to Joel and his mother and paying their tab and left some extra money in case Joel wanted more after they left. They would've made a quiet exit as they left but generally had a good time.

Joel would have been greatful and insisted that they didn't have to buy the drinks but not put up too much of a fuss because he didn't want any drama. He wouldn't show any hesitance to Misha being there and would have been happy to meet Chris for the first time in person glad they got out of the house. He'd peek in the envelope and thank them and will make a fuss about it being way too much tomorrow somewhere more private.

Samantha would have been happy to talk to them and very grateful for them helping out and over all would have been a good first introduction to Chris/Joel and Joel would have tried his positively hardest to make sure Misha thought he was chill, which he was.

Sean and Karl would have shown up a few minutes late (thanks to a child who doesn't like to separate). They would have found Joel to wish him a happy birthday and handed him his present of a decent bottle of whiskey.

Then they would have gone their own way to dance, hit the bar and had a few drinks and enjoyed themselves on a rare night out away from the kids. They would have stayed for cake and for a little bit after that, but not too much after, as they had to work the next day.

Louis would have showed up to wish Joel a happy birthday and deliver him his presents. He'd buy him a couple of drinks and stay for a bit so they could catch up, insisting Joel drink extra for him since he was unable to.

He would have left shortly before 11pm, wanting to go home and rest before his flight the next day for work.

Landon would have shown up at around 9, seeking out Joel to say Happy Birthday and buy him a drink. He would be sure to find Sara and say hello, give her the dance he owed her and then return to Joel since it was his birthday party and really who he was there to see.

He would be friendly with anyone who Joel invited to the party and chat with them, finally meeting Joel's mother which he would get along with easily since she was about as chill as Landon is.

Landon would dance with Joel like he promised and continue buying him drinks through out the night, staying until the other boy decided he was ready to leave, and making time to sneak off and smoke a bowl with him.
