FearZone Review

It's cold where I live right now. Real cold. Cold enough to make Canadians complain about the cold. Today, the high (the HIGH, mind you) is -13 (did I mention that's the high?), the low is -20, and with the windchill...well, it's better we don't even talk about what it feels like with the windchill. The past two mornings, my car was seriously peeved at being woken from its slumber, and barely started. Switching gears was as difficult as stirring a tub of Elmer's glue with a paddle. Last night, I had teeny-tiny icicles formed on my eyelashes after a short walk with the dog.

Yep, it's cold.

Luckily, some news met my eyes today that warmed me up. Derek Clendening, a reviewer for FearZone (among other sites), a fellow librarian and all-around good guy, has posted a review of FROZEN BLOOD.

From the review, the rest of which can be read HERE:

"In his first novel, Sutherland flexes some literary muscle by pulling off some interesting plot points that can be a hard trick to turn. In fact, some of these characteristics don't show up in fiction nearly enough."

That'll do. That'll do quite nicely.
