Vacation Highlights
Once again, my brother and I scheduled a week-long vacation during my break between Spring and Summer semesters at the community college. This year we headed to Florida, and we were joined by our cousin Kathy.
We flew down to Orlando, picked up our rental car, and drove over to the Gulf coast. We even had one of the nice Garmin GPS units from Avis to play with along the way. We had a three-bedroom condo at the Sea Breeze condominiums on Madeira Beach. The name turned out to be completely accurate, as there were wonderful breezes through our unit for the entire four-day period we were there. The weather was gorgeous, and we had a wonderful beachfront condo.
After those wonderfully relaxed days on the beach, we headed back to Orlando for three days at Disneyworld. Kathy had never been there before, so we took in the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. It was quite a bit warmer and more humid by then, so we waited to go each day until about 4:00 pm. Since we were between busy seasons, the crowds weren't bad, and we were able to see everything we wanted to.

It was another great trip. After flying home on Tuesday, it was back to work on Wednesday, and then summer classes begin next week.
