Dental review

Yesterday brutal dentist visit. I am hesitant to leave reviews for health care because really they could hold it against you but the sting didn't wear off overnight and they sent me a survey so I sent them back this:

"I've been here 3-4 times before and this time I got slammed with:
* Proper flossing techniques
* Proper brushing techniques
* Need to get an electric toothbrush
* Need floride mouthwash
* Need floride paste applied (in office procedure + $)
* Recommended consultation on gum recession
* Need deep cleaning (in office procedure at later time)
* Use sensodine toothpaste
* Wear a mouthguard (they tried to push a custom one, but ceded that an over the counter one *might* be fine)

The only one that was being past monitored afaik was the deep cleaning.
The rest was a ton of stuff to take in at one time. You'd think I didn't get appointments twice a year and my teeth were black.
Besides what felt like a continued sales pitch, the appointment itself was fine.

See above notes, I really felt like I got slammed with a bunch of different things all at once. It's hard to feel someone has your best health in mind when they pitch you a handful of things to change as well as try and upsale a bunch of things all in one sitting.
I appreciate the fact your office is not so pushy though."

Ironically the hygenist also told me besides the above my dental care is good and keep doing what I'm doing.
Whatever.
