Another Sunday.

Well Sundays at work are proving quite useful for updating this thing.
So, what happened this week?
Nothing on the week days, I was trying to save money and astonishingly I managed it. Payday tomorrow!
Friday I went to my parent's house to see family (my mum's cousins) and went out to lunch with them. Throughout this whole experience I was trying to stifle laughter every time they mentioned their Grandad called Gumpy Googe. It was only when they left that I discovered he was Grandpa Googe but when they were babies they couldn't pronounce it and the name stuck.
Loads of talking about failing relationships which was pretty depressing. I think the older generation have a 'grin and bear it' attitude whereas nowadays people have a 'divorce' attitude. I don't know which ones better to be honest. Although the forecast was dreadful we ended up spending most of the evening outside and it was very pleasant.
Yesterday I watched preview videos with my pop. I couldn't believe how similar all the shows were. The formats all seemed to be a superior person finding the most useless families/parents/people to fix. I can't help thinking very similarly useless people would watch these programs and feel superior. Still aparently its better than big brother so there. (considering my mum says Big Bro is 'vile' she seemed extremely clued into the injokes about it on Radio4).
Yesterday was a drunken late birthday party for Charlotte. It was suprisingly pleasant, there were moments of gloom but all in all it just involved lots of listening to decent music (lots of David Ford www.david-ford.com - I must stop plugging him), getting drunk and having a takeaway. She seemed to love the framed shot of Graham Coxon which was cool.
I think I'm being too boring even for Livejournal.
Hopefully I'll be more awake later in the week and capable of writing something more interesting.
Until then!
Joe
