Cha Cha Cha...
This subject and entry have absolutely nothing to do with anything!
Truth be told, I was just sick of opening this page and seeing the same entry staring me in the face every time. So here is an update just for the sake of change.
Change is good right? Hehehe. Yeah, sometimes.
Just chillin' now, listening to some tunes. Which, is pretty much what I do all the time I'm not doing anything else. LOL! Music is always playing somewhere. I'd probably go insane without it. :P
Speaking of music...
We all have some song or songs that remind us of somewhere, or someone, or even a period of time. I know I have a few:
"Lady In Red" reminds me of someone in particular...every time I hear it. I haven't seen her in years. I think she moved when we were in 7th or 8th grade, so yeah....been a while. Funny thing about this is that I didn't even dance with her to this song! :P I was at her birthday party and her boyfriend at the time, a friend of mine as well, played her this song on the jukebox and they had a little dance. And ever since then...it's been "her song". Weird huh?
And whenever I hear just about any song by "Tantric" I think about my friend Kelly, who was one of the first people to ever play me a Tantric song. In fact we played the shit out of their first CD the summer that it came out. You rock babe! Thanks. ;)
Hmm...what else??
There are a couple tunes that I heard back when the gang used to party up in the Utica / Sterling Hts. area a few summers ago. Those tunes always take me back. The one by Aaliyah & Slick Rick. It's a remake of an old Marvin Gaye tune. And that freakin' Missy Elliot song: "For My People". LoL! :P
There's one more that's a lot more recent: "American Baby". DMB's newest single. Katie, a girl I worked with played it at work one day. She was pretty excited about it having the new DMB song on CD. I was like: "This is pretty damn good!" Now I love the freakin' song and whenever I hear it, you can guess who comes to mind. :P ;)
Well, I think I'm done for now.
But I think everyone else should post their songs that remind them of whatever. I'd like to see some other peeps' tunes!!
