I know the show's been out for a while, but I am massively addicted to CSI (the original). What other show teaches you how to commit a murder without leaving evidence?
What am I doing over winter break? Learning Java. How sad is it that I'm spending my vacation studying? Anyway, I didn't realize how close Java was to C++. Extremely similar, and yet it's so much easier. After being confined to C++ nearly my entire college career, it is so nice to have a language with automatic garbage collection. Thank you!
BGSU hockey doesn't play at home until January 7 :( Damn it all. And I'd like to send a big "fuck you" to Gary Bettman, commissioner of the NHL. I know both parties share the blame for this lockout, but Bettman has made no concessions or compromises to try and heal the league. In fact, it seems as though he has done everything in his power to prevent this season from happening. The only thing he's been able to succesfully is destroy fan support of the sport here in the U.S. The players have a meeting with him scheduled for January 14, but I strongly doubt anything will come out of it because stubborn Gary doesn't care about the sport or its fans. And now what do I have to look forward to this winter? Basketball, or in other words, nothing. So again, fuck you Gary.
In happier sports news, BGSU plays their bowl game tonight. Go falcons!
