"You have nice eyes"
Out of no where last week a girl told me I had nice eyes. It felt like such an odd occurrence I was actually momentarily stunned I think. Today I got an email from a friend who out of the blue decided to tell me that she thought I looked very handsome, and that I looked great in all of my pictures. It seems strange to get compliments like that. I hear compliments on my artwork from time to time, and occassionally I'll hear a compliment about me being smart, but complimenting me on my looks? Completely takes me by surprise. I'm pretty sure each time this has happened in the past I've gotten awkward and made self deprecating comments about never really liking how I've looked. Welcome to Bizarro World :P
