I heard on the radio that they guy who sings that song that's like "You're beautiful, you're beautiful, you're beautiful, it's true!" put his sister on eBay. I seriously think he's so fucking cool now. I think I should put MY sister on eBay.
So today was my last day at Joes and I'm SO FUCKING GLAD I QUIT. They fucked me over so bad today. I was supposed to be off at 4:00 and they tried to sucker me into working tonight also. I was like "fuck that, this is my last day, I'm not working a 12 hour shift" so then my manager wouldn't let me go. I finished all my stuff and she was like "YOU NEED TO TAKE TABLES UNTIL FIVE!!!!! YOU'RE NOT CUT UNTIL FIVE!!!!" I was like "Fuck that, this is my last day and you can't make me stay" because what could they do? Fire me? No, I quit. I printed up my checkout and got my money ready and she deleted my checkout and wouldn't let me do it. She kept insisting I take tables and was trying to order me around. Fuck that. I was so pissed. I haven't been that pissed in soooooooooooo long. For two years I did so much for that place. For a while I was working 7 days a week, two of which were doubles. So they were SCHEDULING me about 50 hours a week. I did whatever they asked me to and didn't argue, then on my last day they shit on me? No way. Fuck them. All of them. Joes is going downhill. I wouldn't be surprised if they just closed down completely before the year is over. They should. That place is run so terribly. They bitch and complain about how they are so understaffed, but if they didn't treat their employees like shit, they would stay. It's pretty much and entirely new staff. All of the employees that have been there longer than 6 months are quitting. Now that I quit, they are down to only 2 certified trainers. There were like 15 of us. And both of those trainers are quitting soon. Now what are they going to do? Every time I told anyone that I worked at Joes they always said they had shitty service there or that they didn't get sat or something like that. It's rediculous. I used to really like working there now I hate that place with a passion. I'm not going to miss that job AT ALL.
