Needing to force myself to go out for exercise when temperatures are below 60 °F, after I dropped Jessica off at work, I went out biking and took a loop through an area of town with which I was unfamiliar.

Friday was a sunny 80° day, so while Jessica was at work I took the opportunity to do some bike riding and geocaching. I went over to Carson Park to tried again to find two caches which Jessica and I failed to find on our first attempt the weekend before this one. I biked to work this morning, as I did last Friday. I leave early enough to arrive to work with personal supplies for showering and such and a change of clothes. It worked out pretty well Friday but I ran into a snag today. The water in the shower never warmed up. Tuesday I did something that I'd been wanting to try for a while; I rode my bike to work. I alloted half an hour for the trip and left at 7:30 am and the ride took me 23 minutes. The next time I go I think I'll still leave at 7:30 because I was pushing it pretty hard to make it and I can take the same route but just go a bit easier next time ( Read more... )
