Spice please!

Dunno why, but everytime when it gets near to winter, body system seems to feel like it is going into hibernation. Feeling lethargic and restless, and no amount of sleep will suffice. I take naps almost every weekend, 2 hrs of it, but still feel tired throughout the week. I used to sleep like a baby, and not even a richter 4 earthquake can wake me up. Now I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night, or have weird dreams (SGN J, last night I dreamt you were in my bathroom taking a crap, and me standing beside you chatting nonchanlently. duh!)

Work has been not too busy lately. I'm on a new project and it will carry through till most part of next year. It is a big one, and hopefully I can wrangle a promotion out of it :P This project is important but not urgent (yet). And I am just trying to collect all the ammunitiion (research/data/information) I need for later use.

Other than my weekly yoga and Jap lessons, life has been pretty boring *yawn*. I am always on the lookout for holidays or weekend trips. According to my star sign, Leos de-stress the best via vacations. Thing is I need to ration my annual leave, got to leave some for next year, cos according to the grape-vine, there is only 4 days of floating leave next year, compared to 7 this year (Why? Cos QingMing and Mid-autumn festivals all end up on a Sun, so there is no extra leave! Argh!)... which means, add that up to my annual leave... the number of days I have to go on holiday next year is PATHETIC! I will be taking 2 days off already for CNY home trip... so if nothing out of the norm happens, I am estimating about 2 home trips (CNY including), 2 medium trips (1-wk or so), and 2 short trips (<4 days).

Sorry, bo liao, so already thinking about next year's holidays. These are the places I think I want to visit in 2008:

1) China - Jiu Zai Gou (I heard the scenery is amazing) - but need at least 8 days for the travel
2) More Japan pls - hopefully Tokyo this time (4-5 days is good)
3) Vietnam - I heard the food is amazingly good and cheap there.

*at the back of my mind: IF/WHEN I change job in 2008, I MUST visit Europe! Specifically Germany, France, England and Prague)

A previous entry on my travel plans for this lifetime: http://joce-travel.livejournal.com/25084.html
Reading it... I'm glad I manged to vsit more than 1 new country this year, managed THREE in fact, namely Korea (Apr), Macau (May) and Cambodia (Aug). *hooray*

Ok. enough of day-dreaming, back to work *whip-lash myself*
