Doctor Who/Torchwood Porn Battle - Prompts Post
UPDATE: The Porn Battle has been extended by a week to Wednesday, June 27.
So because it's a long weekend in Australia, I've decided to see just how much interest I can raise in a Doctor Who/Torchwood porn battle. Why? Because I've always wanted to run one of these things for these fandoms specifically and it's a long weekend so I have time to think about it. Also? After all the difficulties on LJ recently I think it's time for a nice restful smutathon.
How it works:
In the comments to this post, you give prospective authors/artists/etc an idea to run with. It generally takes the form of a pairing/grouping and a prompt word or phrase (which can be used creatively - and often is).
For example, you might give as a prompt: Nine/Jack, banana daquiri, Ten/Rose, "Always On My Mind", or Nine/Jack/Rose, "bigger on the inside". Keep the prompt word or phrase simple and brief.
On Monday 11 Tuesday 12 June (Australian time) I declare the prompt post closed. Then I gather all the prompts up and post them in a new post. In the comments to that new post, you create. You write/draw/manip/do anything to express your fannish creativity for that prompt. You have from Monday 11 Tuesday 12 June (Australian time) to the next Tuesday 19 Wednesday 20 June Wednesday 27 June (Australian time) to do so.
If you do write a story, though, it has to fit in the LJ comments box - 4.300 characters. You can expand, and link, but the post to the Porn Battle post must fit into the lJ comment box.
The prompts can involve any characters from Doctor Who or Torchwood. The only thing I ask is that there be no one having sex who is under eighteen (which, with the exception of Sarah herself, pretty much lets out the cast of The Sarah Jane Adventures). You can have any of the (current) Ten Doctors and okay I'll throw in Joanna Lumley for those who like girl Doctors (or Joanna Lumley for that matter *g*). Crossover prompts are allowed and encouraged but please identify the other fandom as well as the character (example: Captain Jack Harkness/Norman Osborn (Spider-Man movieverse), mentor). RPF prompts are also allowed, but must be with Doctor Who or Torchwood actors only, please.
