bloody shit service from xtra
im up to my neck dealing with delivery persons.
last sat, their delivery man delivered my eames rocking chair with a huge scratch on it and refused to take the chair back when i refused delivery. (and what is it with their fucked up timings. when you say you are coming from 10am - 12pm, pls stick to the damn timing and dont keep calling me at 8am to say you are on your way from AMK).
when they delievered, their shop was not open yet and i was frantically calling and leaving voice mails about the bloody scratched chair. i didnt pay a few hundred for a chair with such a visible scratch.
by afternoon, still no call back and i called the shop and he said i would now have to wait for the next shipment when it comes in june. so fine, they were supposed to come down today to collect the chair (timing from 10am to 11am). i am seriously considering wanting a refund for the damn bloody chair (if that is even possible) and get it over and done with coz next round i have to wait for them to deliver the chair again. the entire day gone again!
it is now 12noon and nobody here. i called the shop and they said nothing arranged (WTF!) and then they said, oh someone is supposed to collect from 10am - 11am and they will call delivery man and get back to me.
fuck delivery guys and their rubber timings. if you are late, give a call. its common courtsey (it's not as if you do not have my number). if you are early and trying your luck to see if you can deliver early, give 1 call and not bombard my fucking phone with calls if nobody picks up.
and to think i paid an extra $60 for them to deliver the fucking item. so pissssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeddddddddddddddddddd. i do not haave the time to wait around entire saturdays for people to deliver stuff when they do not stick to their expected timings.
am i expected to wait the entire day for them just because they cannot stick to their timings? another freaking day burnt and i have to rush to work next! if your schedule is unrealistic, do not give such timings.
