Shiseido Aqualabel
been using the whitening (blue) range of lotion, essence, moisturiser for a couple of weeks now and rather pleased with the results. actually first few times after using it, i noticed that the skin looked brighter and clearer and fairer and thought it couldnt be due to the change in skincare to AQ but turns out, it really was...
i mainly use the entire range (excluding enhancer coz i dont have the time in the morning & whitening cleanser coz its too harsh only use that once in a blue moon). night is just the moisturiser if i mask.
lotion:
light weight and no sticky feeling. i do feel its pretty much like a normal toner and $26.90 is quite abit to pay!! not sure if its because i am using a couple of items in the entire range and so its more effective or if i can do without this.
essence:
without a doubt, my fav item in the range. a lightweight essence, applied after lotion and before moisturiser. i would 1 pump on cheeks, 1 pump on tzone and neck. $35.50 is definitely worth for the effects!! but i do not smell any rose fragrance, a slight citrusy one instead. it is however, not so moisturising that i do not need to follow up with moisturiser.
emulsion: no picture of that... its a pretty light weight non oily moisturiser. skin doesnt shine after using it. i do not feel that its super moisturising but its pretty decent. only gripe is the packaging. super annoying to control how much moisturiser i pour out each time. initially i poured too much and my elbows did benefit from that... i would see the bottle lasting a long time though coz you do not need much each time.
enhancer: this is meant to be the last step and to sink and seal all the goodness into the skin. personally i skip this most of the time as it takes up time and i dont want to walk around with cotton all over my face (left over from patting the enhancer into the skin) so im not sure how effective this is.
the entire range i am using (cleanser on ocassional basis). love how the liquid looks in the blue bottles, so pretty!
in addition, i also have this hydrating serum. meant for undereyes. i do like it quite abit and even use it all over the face when my skin feels particularly dry! its a tad expensive to constantly use it for all over though.
all in all, pretty pleased with the AQ range and would definitely repurchase the essence. the rest, maybe if i cannot find anything else to use.
