Storm Report

We still have power, thank goodness. The crawl space has about 4 feet of water in it, so Jon put the spare pump to work emptying it. The pump is ahead, so we may be giving it and the battery setup to Amanda & Bruce who lost power and have 2" in their finished bsaement. And spare cat food if they need it, because they feed their guys a raw food that needs refrigeration. All that assumes they can get over here; lots of downed branches and probably flooded roads.

My folks have no power and no backup on their sumps, so no idea how much they'll get, but they definitely have water in their basement. A part of me is glad only because it means they'll have to get rid of all the junk down there instead of taking FOREVER going through it like my father's been taking. But I'm worried about the work involved (I see us and my sister & her bf doing it) and the appliances down there.

No idea about my sister, other than she sheltered in place, which I didn't really think was a great idea. But I know her power outlasted my parents'.

In-laws have power (remarkably so, for BIL & SIL) and are good and out the other side I think.

Keeping an eye on the neighbor's house, since she's an emergency room nurse who went in last night. Just a few branches down in her yard, though.

Think that's everyone. Eye's not here yet, but it's apparently not an eye anymore, either. Curious if my office building is still intact. Roof was leaking last week, so it can't have gotten better...
