THE STORY OF AN HOUR by KATE CHOPIN
so ganito ung story... after the drug testing, literature naman... ung prof. namin ididiscuss niya ung 'story of an hour' by kate chopin... ang weird tlga nung story for me kasi ang engding nia... "it's a joy that kills" parang ganun...
ito ung mga main points sa story: (not really, na widen lang siya ng slight)
- the first thing you surrender when you are in a relationship is FREEDOM.
- dati nung nasa 1st stages pa lang kayo, you never thought that you would be bored dun sa relationship. But suddenly biglang nagkakaroon ng ENLIGHTENMENT saying (I want out!).
- Ang break-up una-unahan lang yan. Meaning ung tao na un nag give-up na for some reason. Or maybe there is no love that fuels the reltionship na, kasi relationship dont run in pity.
- Minsan wala namang problem yung relationship, its just the fact na nakatali siya at hindi na malaya.
- Sometimes pa nga, people can't give up kasi maraming maaapektuhan.
amaze tlga ako sa prof. na un kahit na super hirap ako sa subject niya... hindi pa rin matatanggal ung fact na super galing niyang mag-explain ng bagay na hindi namin naiintindihan... ang simple lang nung story but when you listen to him/her (gay siya!) it's as if alam mo na rin ung nararamdaman nung character or persona sa story.. :)
