Crazy Cat Lover Challenge

Right now I am switching around skin defaults, just to see how they look. So if sims look weird and changing that is why. I plan to post a few pictures here as I go along. It's a reasonably short challenge-a sims life span. I decided to use Tara Kat from the sin bin. She comes with her own three cats and a weird little house.
I guess I should write down the name of her cats. The spotted one I know is the female Samantha, the pretty patchwork type cat is the male called Mickey...and I had to look up the kittens name on Wiki which I guess looses me a point? The kitten is named Faline. I will deduct points for some of the training the cats come with, namely 'come here'
The lot opens with Tara standing in the kitchen and her cats are in the lounge room. Before she even moves the spotted cat Samantha goes to scratch the chair. Samantha comes with a few bad habits. Scratching furniture, eating peoples food and being hostile to others. Drama queen methinks.
There was nothing in the rules that I could see about scolding the cats, so I have Tara scold Samantha. I put a scratching post both indoors and outdoors so I hope that encourages her to use it.
Tara and her house badly need a makeover. That Maxis skirt is atrocious. While this default skin seems to have droopy eyelids and too much shine for me.
The house is weird
Outside it looks large, but inside it's small.
It's just empty space with strange pieces of roof and wall.
Before we can make it over too much I will give Tara some new clothes and make sure all the cats have their own toys, beds and litter trays as per the rules.
I just changed her clothes. The top is perfect for a crazy cat lady as we all have our cat shirts.... err don't we?
Yes Samantha sorry about the TV.
I added a fencing strip to keep the noise out of where the cats sleep and changed a wall and a floor. Shame the ceiling tiles cut off the cats heads on the wallpaper. >_> I gave her an old 50's TV and a gramophone radio as she seems like an old fashioned kind of lady to me.
I decided to welcome the welcome wagon as you can see. Trent Traveller there in front does look very strange in that default skin.
The lady is one of three prosperity type families and the last guy is my hobo. He just got the money to clean himself up.
Trent that isn't very nice. He shooed Mickey away.
Tara comes with a few cooking points and made them all lunch... and by all, that included Samantha.
"A cat like me is far too good for kibble."
We'll see about that.
Look at that pretty little dish set. I wouldn't mind eating from that if I was a cat.
I also gave her a matching pillow.

And also a nice cc pillow. Well at least it's blue if not exactly masculine.
That dish is Falin's, although I'm not sure if I should keep the kitten or not.
She got a small stripy basket.
Using smaller sized cc beds I can fit them all in the lounge room together.
I made sure they had three toys. The mouse is Samantha's, the bird Mickey's and the ball of wool is Falin's. Not that I expect them to stick to anything. Cats also wreck that wool like they do the cat nip Maxis mouse toy, so that will be an ever changing colour.
I love the mouse. That is an extracted Pet Story item.
And look, I know you wanted to see the litter trays. The covered one is of course for queen Samantha.
The kitten has one inside.
Tara will have her work cut out for her training her royal highness.

Just as well Mickey is a good boy.
I guess I'll keep the kitten and see how she turns out.
